Equipment Introduction:

Disc dryer, also known as disc dryer, is a drying equipment mainly based on conduction heat transfer.


Working Principle:

The wet material enters the dryer from the top feeder and falls on the inner edge of a small drying tray on the di layer. The rake arm system drives the rake blades to rotate, causing the material to move along the exponential spiral towards the outer edge of the disc. After reaching the edge, it falls to the outer edge of the large drying disc below, where the material moves towards the middle and enters the next layer of small drying disc through the middle feeding port, falling layer by layer. At the same time, heating media such as steam, thermal oil, or hot water are introduced into the hollow drying tray, and heat is conducted to the material through the tray wall, causing the moisture in the material to evaporate. The dried material falls from the bottom drying tray into the aggregate tray and is pushed by the rake blades to the discharge port for discharge. The evaporated moisture is discharged through the top dehumidification port or extracted by a vacuum pump.

In addition, the rotor inside the dryer is submerged in the material, and the heat transfer area can be fully utilized, with a thermal efficiency of 75% -92%.

Flexible operation: By adjusting the spindle speed, the number of rake arms, the type and size of rake blades, etc., the residence time of materials in the dryer can be accurately controlled to meet the drying needs of different materials. The equipment runs smoothly, with simple operation and maintenance, and supports continuous or intermittent operation.

Good environmental performance: The drying process is a closed operation, suitable for handling materials with harmful and odorous wet gases, which can effectively reduce dust emissions and environmental pollution.

Wide application range: It can use various heat transfer media, can be used as a drying, heating, or cooling machine, suitable for drying filter cake, granular and other materials that are not easy to agglomerate or adhere, such as fish meal, graphite, carbon black, polyethylene powder, feed, distiller's grains, sludge, etc.
