Equipment Introduction:

A disc dryer is an industrial device used for drying non caking materials such as filter cakes and granules, mainly applied in the chemical, food, pharmaceutical, and feed industries. Its core is composed of multiple layers of hollow heat transfer disks, which are indirectly heated by steam, hot water, or thermal oil. The double-sided heat transfer design can effectively improve heat transfer efficiency.

This device adopts a closed structure design, which is particularly suitable for processing materials in hazardous gas environments and supports continuous or intermittent operation modes. The rotor is immersed in the material and equipped with an adjustable angle scraper and a propulsion mixer to achieve spiral flow and interface renewal of the material, with functions of drying, heating, and cooling. The equipment is usually equipped with a variable frequency speed control transmission system and PLC automation control, with a thermal efficiency of over 65%, a processing capacity covering 30-100 tons/day, and steam pressure generally below 0.6 MPa.

The disc dryer has a compact structure and minimal wear, and the exhaust gas treatment system supports heat recovery, which can meet dust emission and safety operation standards. Typical applicable materials include fish meal, graphite, carbon black, polyethylene powder, feed, distiller's grains, sludge, etc.
